On a typical day we will meet at 9:30 a.m., head down to the boat, stow gear and provisions, and head out around 10:00 a.m. Where we go and what we do is up to you, based on your goals. We'll motor out of Oakland's Inner Harbor, hoist our sails and sail under the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Where we go next will usually depend on wind and current, but we'll head access close-up views of Treasure Island, Yerba Buena Island and Angel Island. From there, likely through Raccoon Straight and views of Tiburon, Belvedere and Sausalito. Conditions permitting. we can sail under the Golden Gate Bridge, before turning downwind through the “slot,” and over to the San Francisco City-front, taking in views of Alcatraz and the sights and skyline of San Francisco. We'll reach across towards Richmond when the time comes in order to be back to Jack London around 5:00 p.m.
Finish the day relaxing aboard the boat, or check out Jack London Square restaurants for a glass of wine or hand-crafted cocktail and delicious food choices.
